An interesting difference in the two polls was the age groups of who participated.  In the Continental Research Associates’ poll approximately 70% of the respondents were under fifty years old which closely approximates the age distribution in the 2000 census.  In the Cyber Advisory Committee poll the ages of those participating were exactly opposite. 70% participating in the Cyber Advisory Committee poll were fifty years of age or older.  That in itself may explain the difference of opinion.
